    You will be learning more about our vision, mission and goals during Parent Orientation which have been scheduled as follows:


    K- Monday, August 22-5:30 p.m.-6:15 p.m.


    1st- Tuesday, August 23-5:30 p.m.-6:15 p.m.


    2nd- Tuesday, August 23- 6:30 p.m.-7:15 p.m.


    3rd- Wednesday, August 24-5:30 p.m.-6:15 p.m.


    4th- Wednesday, August 24- 6:30 p.m.-7:15 p.m.

    • Welcome to the Elementary School Campus

      Dear CCSP Community,

      It is with honor and humility that I introduce myself as the new principal of CCSP. 

      I have been an educator for over (30) years. Classroom Teacher (K through 12). I have served in the roles of Instructional Facilitator and Assistant Principal (K through 12)and Elementary Principal(Pre-K through 6). 

      In addition to being an educator, I am blessed to be mother to Steven, Brittany, Nicholas, and Daniel. They range in age from 16 to 31 and have been some of my greatest teachers. They have taught me about ADHD, OCD, Talented and Gifted. Through them I have experienced what it’s like to be extremely popular and socially awkward. I know  what it’s like to have a child who is intrinsically motivated and I know what it’s like to have a child who needs a Behavior Intervention Plan to assist in meeting goals.

      As a product of a Community School in East Harlem , I know firsthand that it takes a village to raise a child. The home-school connection is instrumental to student success.  With the understanding that a goal without a plan is just a wish, the team and I have been working together to develop SMART goals for the upcoming school year. These goals will be shared with the school community and available on the school website.

      Maintaining a positive growth mindset will be instrumental during this time of transition. If we believe we can, then we will. We’re not where we want to be YET but we have a plan which we will monitor consistently. Clear communication and strong relationships are paramount. We will offer monthly Parent Universities to keep you informed. We will also utilize our website and other forms of social media to ensure that you receive communication in a timely manner.

      In keeping with our strategic plan, we will ensure that we have a rigorous curriculum that is implemented with fidelity. This will allow our leaders to be Inquirers, Knowledgeable, Open-Minded, Caring, Thinkers, Risk-Takers, Balanced, Principled and Reflective.
